In Cabin Self Rescue
In case of a power failure, the battery backup computer verifies the lock status of the landing doors. To initiate self-rescue, the passenger must press and hold the alarm and maintenance buttons simultaneously as the cabin gradually descends to the nearest floor level. The door will unlock for a safe exit.
Electric Traction provides a fast, smooth, and quiet ride with no floor limit, but it comes at a slightly higher cost and slightly longer installation times.
Roped Hydraulic offers a quick installation, fair value, no machine space requirement, a limit of 7 floors, and guaranteed absence of oil odour.
